Interior Plantscapes were recently approached by US electrical’s giant Best Buy who made their UK debut in Southampton in 2009.

Best Buy bought a 35,000-plus sq ft store at Hedge End Retail Park and is Best Buy’s first store in the UK so they wanted to make a positive impression.

The problem Best Buy had is that the perfect building for their vast electrical wares is not the most aesthetically designed building for the retail park. Best Buy wanted a sustainable solution to improve the image of the store.

Interior Plantscapes supplied a green solution, fitting 2.7m green screens to enhance the store fascia. The Green Screens used were Ivy screens that are planted and pre-grown on a galvanized steel framework creating secure and attractive evergreen or deciduous hedging.
